MFRAI - Latest News

Shop28/02/22 - Previous advice has been given of the winding up of First Touch Football Supplies as a business unit and of subsequent negotiations with Umbro to handle referee clothing and equipment requirements for match officials from across our football state.
Umbro has announced that its referee online store for clothing and equipment purchases is now ready and can accept online orders from individual match officials, zones and branches as from Wednesday 1 March 2023. The Umbro store not only will provide standard referee clothing, including jackets, polo shirts and training jerseys, but also equipment items such as whistles, flags, cards and notebooks.
The Umbro referee store is currently live to view at https://prosportsgroup.com.au/collections/northern-nsw-referees, and as from tomorrow can also be accessed by clicking on the Shop icon in the top right-hand corner of the NNSWF website home page.
There are slight variations in the prices of some clothing and equipment with some items being slightly more expensive and others less so.
Please be aware that Umbro black referee shirts will soon transition to having grey sleeves (instead of the current black sleeves). This change was made by Umbro as a result of its regular reviews of its product lines. Match officials across NNSWF are not required to purchase one of these new shirts to replace their existing Umbro black shirt.
The NNSWF Referee Department will continue to supply green shirts, black shorts, black socks, Laws of the Game books, whistles, flags, cards and notebooks to participants at Level 4 Referee Courses across the state under the NNSWF New Referee Starter Package.
I wish to thank Michael Ying Sing from the NNSWF Marketing Department for the significant amount of time and energy he has given to negotiating with Umbro and arranging for our match officials to continue to be able to purchase their clothing and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
Regards,
Brad Carlin
